Building a Life that Works - Developing the Skills of Wellbeing & Resiliency
Te Awatea is an 8-Week Course for people living in and around Mangawhai. A supportive group environment for local people facing challenges or wanting connection.
Venue: Training Room, St John Mangawhai, 194 Molesworth Drive, Mangawhai.
Starts Tuesday 18 May 10am – 12.15pm
We will include
• Anxiety and depression
• Neuro biology and how our brains work in anxiety and stress
• Social connection and healthy relationships
• Strategies for reducing stress
• Healthy living
• Self-compassion and hope
• Habits and addictions
• Developing tools of resilience and life beyond surviving
• Happiness and joy
• Boundary setting and managing conflict
• Gratitude
Incorporating a wide range of models for change including
Te Whare Tapa Wha, The Resilience WorkBook-Glenn Schiraldi,
Tika Pono Aroha and an art component.
Over the weeks you will be guided to build your own understanding to develop the skills to change some things in your life and experience more ease and joy.
