Family Care Service
Te Whai Family Care Service provides therapeutic support and early interventions for whānau of children with disabilities, developmental delays, and significant learning and behavioural needs that impact their wellbeing or occupational performance (such as school, self-care and making friends).
Once engaged with the Family Care Service, some families require ongoing support, whilst others make significant improvements as a result of intervention.
There is not only a growing need for support within the Mangawhai community but also a diversity of needs.
Your donation of $350 covers the cost of a parent or whānau to participate in a Parenting and Psychoeducation course
Your donation of $1000 - 1500 covers the cost of six sessions with a Children’s Occupational Therapist (the cost varies depending on the complexity of need).
